North Carolina

We went to NC on June 7th to celebrate Susie's graduation from High School.

I love being with my whole family!  We did a lot in the few days we had there.

 Dad and Susie made a fun photo booth for her party.

 We had too much fun :)



Chickies!!

I have ALWAYS wanted chickens. Last week Steve and I designed and built a henhouse and purchased 5 chicks.

Steve did the cutting and heavy work...

...I painted it as he put it together... 

...Steve designed these cool doors for the nesting box... 

...I picked out a bright blue for the paint...

...Right now it's a chick-house, not a henhouse...

 ...All painted...

 ...They are all named "Chica", since we're going to eat them eventually...

...Mom Bryan gave me some chick-sized feeders... 

...This big one is sick, she has some swelling on her throat :( She's in solitary confinement right now til she's better.

Ketchup

This is to ketchup on all the spring events that I skipped blogging on...

Dad, Susie, and Ben came to visit in April for a few days, and helped us chop up an oak tree we'd had cut down recently.

 Rachel came in May for a few days as well.

We had lots of outings on that trip :)

 Jason had gotten us tickets to the new Blue Wahoos Stadium.

 I took her to the beach.

 

 There was a Fine Arts production of Anne of Green Gables, so we went to that, as well. We had a lot of fun.

 Coming home the sunset was gorgeous...

Steve and I drove with James and Luke to North Carolina for Susie's graduation June 9th.  I haven't gotten the pics from that yet, but we had a wonderful time with all the family.

And our spring went by quickly!
