Uncle Jerry's Photoshoot... :)

Last Saturday all the Bryans met at Uncle Jerry's for a photoshoot.  Afterwards we all ate supper and played Rhythm around Jason's bonfire.

Bus stuffs...

It's that time of the year again!!

Every October the buses at Trinity Baptist Church have a Fall Promotion to get more kids to church.  This year a contest between both buses is helping heat things up.  The prize for ten kids from each bus with the most points is a trip to the National Museum of Naval Aviation at the Naval Air Station.

I'm on a rotation with 5-6 other ladies to make cookies for our bus, Bus 2.

 This week I made 180 sugar cookies.

 Mmmmmm

 They were sooooo soft and yummy!  I found a recipe called "Nigel's Sugar Cookies", unfortunately, I can't find the blog that it was on!

Each bus has a folder of song sheets for the kids to sing.

Bus 2 only had 10-15 songs, and they were ALL in pretty bad repair.  I spent a few days designing new sheets and finding more songs for our kids.

Catch up

Hey everyone!  I've taken a few minutes to empty my camera of the pitifully few pictures and scrape a post together.

Steve and I are so busy!  This month, October, is the contest/bus promotion at Trinity Baptist Church.  Steve and I are spending a long time on Saturdays and throughout the week working on getting more kids on our bus.

Yesterday evening Steve and I hosted the church fellowship for the first time.  We had 30 plus people in our kitchen, living room, and back porch.  There were no disasters and everyone enjoyed themselves!

We (Steve and I) traded houses with our friends, the Jacksons, to give them a surprise get-away last week.  It was their anniversary surprise.  Well, Jimmy left US a surprise, this guy was under our covers, reading a book... He was just balloons and  some pillows, tho.  Jimmy scared me!!
